Gosport
The Borough of Gosport is located on a low-lying peninsula, which fronts Portsmouth Harbour to the east and the Solent waterway to the south and west. It has a population of 79,200 people and is approximately five miles long and four miles across. The Borough boasts over 24 miles of coastline, comprising a mix of harbour frontage, beach and coastal inlets.
Gosport’s historic connection with the Royal Navy has created an enviable skills base in marine, electronic and engineering.
